On Monday 13 May, we will be launching a further new bus service, X17 which will operate between Edinburgh City Centre and Fauldhouse.
Running via Corstorphine, Gogarburn, Broxburn, Uphall, Deer Park, Craigshill, Polbeth, West Calder, Loganlea and Stoneyburn, this new route will create new and improved links and more frequent buses for the residents and commuters of West Lothian.
Nigel Serafini, Commercial Director, Lothiancountry said:
As our business continues to grow, our network has to continually expand to meet the needs and demands of the local community of West Lothian. Promoting bus travel as a great solution to sustainable active travel journeys will encourage people out of cars and on to public transport.
West Lothian’s Executive councillor for development and transport Cathy Muldoon said:
I’m delighted that Lothian Country are expanding their services in West Lothian, offering more choice and support for those travelling in West Lothian.
The launch of the new X17 route will be warmly welcomed by residents in communities such as Fauldhouse and Stoneyburn for delivering improved transport links.
